here is my 300 DD ....set up lagoon style

Thanks for the compliments...
I say lagoon because it is more low flow and macroalgae,LPS,soft coral dominant. I do have some acroporas in the tank time will tell how they do.
The reef tank operates with a much higher flow.

Flanders ..yep I built the cave with the intention of placing some NPS corals there eventually.

would like to find a low level light that could be used over the cave area to give the illusion of sunlight streaming through holes in top of the cave. . not continous..maybe just set it up on a timer of sorts.
 
It's beautiful. Could you elaborate on what exactly "lagoon style" is? I've seen the term before, but I don't know just what that means. Thanks.
 
Thanks,what I mean for lagoon style is the use of more macro algaes and lower flow.
I have some hard corals but they arent dominant, mostly softy and lps type corals.
I believe the water movement is the difference in the lagoon style vs. say open reef style.
 
Very Nice! I saw it in person over the summer & it's really sweet! Still waiting for my Torch & Blasto frags! LOL!!
