Do you think not having a front access to the tank be an issue?

It would always be better for sure. My old tank(s) used to be against a wall, so I had no back access. Having a fish room now in the back is a huge advantage.
I have yet to run into a time when having no front access has been a major concern. I can reach everywhere from the back, shirt of getting in there but I can reach.

Thanks for checking out my build.

I was going to wait until it was all 'more' finished before showing pics but that might never happen, I'm always stalled as per the build name.

I couple of QT tanks. 30G above more for corals and smaller fish no meds.
40G below for bigger fish and meds if needed.

Moving on to electrical:

Couple tank shots a few weeks old now, things have progressed quite a bit sine these. Sorry for the lame pics, I'll try and break out the real camera right away.

Then the mandatory insert your badass car if you got one shot… "FUeL"

I hope to play with taking some quality pictures soon if only for the sake of trying to document my coral growth. The corals I purchased from Oldude still are fully coloured up, the others are all coming around nicely. In total I have 4 Mitras lights over the tank still only running at 50%. I expect to start ramping that up right away.

I have also set up a three part dosing system using Tropic Marine products. I'n the past I was always running a calcium reactor but I thought I'd try this out, easy peezee so far.

Here is a pic of Oldude's tank when I was frag shopping, I can only hope and dream to have such a tank in the future.

Thanks Dave - you are making me blush:o Things have changed a bit since your post so you'll have to swing by for a visit.
I like the look of your aquascape - lots of potential there for sure!

I have to drop by for sure. I did change my scape a bit, added a large shelf rock on the left almost on top of the existing rock raising it up and giving me a huge flat area for corals"¦ your corals and I filled the space.

I'm the worst:) But I'm living up to the theme of my thread- 'stalled.'

After being what I thought was an extremely anal quarantine procedure of everything coming into my system about a year and a half maybe closer to two years I got it all...
Not sure what came first, the red bugs, the flat worms or the aiptasia. I fought the battle hard for a while, corals all died, aiptasia was winning. I lost, I tossed in the towel, I gave up.
I completely ignored my tank for like a year and a half. Maybe three water changes, cleaned the skimmer once and a while, not often, replaced one pump. Filled my Neptune auto feeder with food once a week (ish) until that fell in the water one day. Random feedings after that. Someone call the fish police...

Last Sunday I thought I'd see what's behind the disgusting front glass. Got ready for a water change added some filter socks and had at it. Cleaned like a mad man. I have some red algae, hair algae, bit of bubble algae and lots of aiptasia. I must of removed solid inch of detritus from large portions of my sump, unbelievable amounts (actually very believable) serious neglect. I've gone at it pretty hard to get it cleaned. Removed tons of the hair algae real easy. Got my biopellet reactor back online. (oh that memory- that was so disgusting about a year ago-gnarly- to unclog and clean to put away)

Couple good sized water changes so far and the fish look fat and happy. The rest is going to be a work in progress.

First order up is Berghia Nudibranchs.

Here is a couple of terrible photos of how it sits today.

Oh those are really bad and I cant remember how to post a pic and I cant seem to delete that post, sorry.

Realized I have a missing fish. A Bariene Tang just gone, no signs of him, never jumped never stuck to the overflow or closed loop. He was the biggest fish in there someone had many good dinners off him I'd guess.

I also lost a few wrasse that surfed the fish room floor over this time period.

I also have a Purple Tang in there that is 16+ years old, my oldest by far.
