Lost my Alveopora the first day....everything else survived somehow. Guess thats what 65 degree water will do.

I went out last time we had a power outage (3 days!!) and bit the bullet on a 3500w gas generator from HD. I just fire it up and run a cord through a basement window. It will run my pumps, heaters and even my furnace and my fridge + 1 or 2 house lights. Worth every penny. Ran me about $600 on sale. I would like to eventually like to hard-wire it into my panel for auto-starting with power loss.

Yeah I spent $700 on a 5500watt generator. Kept my basement dry and both my tanks stayed up and running. I'll give you a call soon....I'm swamped today but maybe I'll find time later. Talk to you soon.
