3155 Eye Sensor

The optic sensor is not typically sold as a spare part, depending on what country you are in, I can refer you to someone to send the controller into for having this part replaced. There is a capacitor that runs the optic sensor that can also be part of the problem and that has to be checked. Because it is soldered in, it is not sold as a spare part to the public in most cases.

I need the bracket the eye sits on and everything. It didn't break, I bought the 3155 from an individual and it didn't come with the deal. Can I just go to Austin and pick one up?

The eye is soldered on to the controller, it has to come with it. The brackets are part 3155.250. Where do you live?

O.k. I have the eye. But, my eye and secondary sensor are both on the same holder with the primary in a lower position. Is this an older version or a mod? Is it good to go or do I need another holder for the secondary

The manual shows both installation methods. The two seperate rails allow you to get the sensors closer for less margin of error if the optic sensor fails. This is critical for in tank use. For in sump use it is often a cleaner install if both are on the same rail, on a big system (over 100 gallons) the extra 2-3" of water added to the sump if the optic sensor fails is not likely to be catastrophic.
