3155 osmolator and timer

My kalk reactor mixes at a set time each day. The osmolator feeds the reactor. I would like to make sure the mixture has time to settle (60 minutes)before resuming top off of system.

Can the 3155 be used on a digital timer?

It can with one caveat, it will run for 15 seconds every time it turns on. You will also defeat the safety timer as it would shut down after 10 minutes of run time and then be reset everytime it was powered off and on. This does add risk, but it is not impossible to do. I would just be sure to limit the volume of water available and keep an eye on things. I definitely would not do this with a huge reservoir of water available and an extended vacation.

I don't really have a problem with it running for 15 seconds during initial start up. How exactly does the safety timer work? Thank you Roger!

The osmolator will only let the pump run for 10 continuous minutes. This is additional safety, say for example both sensors failed or your tank or plumbing was leaking, after 10 minutes the system would shut down and show the too low red light on the display. By cycling off the power, you will reset this.
