Not in the least, mine is a sump in comparison

Nice line Ed,

You guys both have huge challanges. Great fun to watch.

Not really much at all, I siliconed the intake grates over the bulkheads. Other than that, not really much of anything.

here is a pic

Ed,
What do the ball valves do? I'm assuming they turn on/off at a random interval? Got any links to the ones you purchased?

ChrisRush, I will answer your question in detail. But first, I have to post pics of the tank with WATER in it!!!!!!!!!!

not too exciting, just a leak test

Here they are, I haven't finished plumbing the euro brace bulkheads, there are 4 of them up there that need to tied into this pump.

Almost forgot, VIDEO!!!!!!!!

Ok so i played around with building a light rack for the new tank. It will be suspended from the ceiling. It will have the metal halide reflectors and t5's mounted to it. It is much lighter than I first expected. Made from 1 inch aluminum tubing, and assembled with corner brackets so i didnt have to weld it. And I put some eye bolts in it for easy hanging.

No problem Paul, I only needed 28ft to do this thing, and I had to buy 48, so I think we can work that out in an evening very soon

I think Ed, that when you make mine (wink..wink) ...you should do a complete pictorial guide to making a retrofit light stand. From measurement all the way through.

If you dont get it right first time, thats OK, cos I need two brackets making
