340 A.G.E. Tank Build!!!!!

Tangs?

Tangs?

Nice group of yellow tangs..have you had them awhile? I guess your tank is large enough that they don't feel need to get territorial...

Beautiful job.

Yeah they were the first fish in the tank. I have alot of tangs, 10 to be exact. To be honest fish behave so much different in a big tank. They don't fight or get territorial at all. They are always swiming amonst themselves. I will probably add 3 more yellows and another purple.

ok, Here are the updated pics, Paul was gracious enough to help me with the heavy lifting

Here is the tank aquascaped, now just need it to grow in

lookin good Ed! I need to come up and see it in person.

Come on down, you're the next contestant

I thought the aquascaping looked great throughout the entire tank. I didn't notice anything wrong with the right side. I wouldn't change a thing. :)

Ok so I got bored yesterday...ok really bored

I re-worked my entire RO system. I decided it would be beneficial for an easy way for my wife to shut down the RO system without me there. So I made it easy for her. Also, I have some extra pressure gauges knocking around, and put them to use.

I can now measure my input water pressure, the output water pressure, as well as the pressure on the waste water side of the membrane (lets me know when its time to back wash)

Here are some pics

your labels are cut crooked...I don't like it anymore

seriously though, you've got an awesome system there. I like the extra step you took for organization too. I sometimes get caught up in 'just getting it in' and have to go back and clean everything up. I always have great plans from the start, but then get lazy after the work or excited to see the finished product.

nice work!

Me either, I already ripped them off. I apparently don't have steady hands. My wife is cutting the new ones

Thanks though, the concept is really simple, there is a pressure switch, and a solenoid valve in side the box

Its primary function is to shut the water off in case of a power failure. Though I am not sure what use that has. The override allows me to shut off water to the system for filter changes and such

Thank you very much, I must say that it is as rewarding to me to share my experience with others as it is to own it. I hope to see everyone on the tank tour in June!
