34g solana bta build

so as some of you know i collect btas and have even been known to farm them from time to time. i'm building a new bta tank from the ground up. i'll be trying some things i've never done before, so it should be interesting (entertaining.)

first, here's a stand i recently finished for Markcle. it turned out great so i just wanted to show it off.

and here's the start of the 34g stand. it measures 24x24x38. yes, i like tall stands. next up will be the trim and the doors.

i've got holes.

cut a perfect hole right through one of our good towels. i'm going to blame it on one of the dogs. don't tell the wife.

Got it plumbed. I'll trim the durso and return lines once I have the overflow built. Each each union has a ball valve on the other end to shut off the water if needed. That is the closed loop.

Made some more progress. Stand is finished. Overflow installed , eggcrate done. Next up...quikrete! Should be interesting as I've never done this before.
