I am working on setting up a tank for my aunt, she's kept oscars in the past and is looking to keep 1 or 2 personable fish in this tank. She would like something similar to her past oscars that would eat out of her hand and let her touch them. Have to be reef safe or atleast coral safe, CUC is expendable. I'm kind of stumped on what would be good for a tank that small.

I think clowns are hit or miss, I have a perc pair, ocellaris pair and a mixed perc/ocellaris pair. The two true pairs are more likely to bite you when you stick your hand in, the mixed pair just run away. Unless another clown species is suppose to be more friendly? I always thought perc's and ocellaris were suppose to be the more docile ones.

i had a tomato clown a long time ago that was very friendly, but he didnt have an anemone to get defensive of. my current ocellaris is the same way. maybe its just me :D

My current percs try to draw blood whenever I even dip my fingers in the water! They drive me crazy but still manage to be my favorite fish in the tank. Another good fish for a tank that size could be a shrimp goby. It won't eat out of your hand but watching them share their burrows can be pretty cool and most stay plenty small for a tank that size

29 I'll have to look into the smaller puffers have a friend with very friendly one but its a foot long in a 150g.

sponger I'll check out some dwarf's I know volitan's are pretty bold and stay in the open not sure about the different dwarf types.

Sugar have a few blennies myself and love them but she's looking to focus on corals and just keep 1 or 2 centerpiece fish that will spend most of their time in the open.

ALH, I was just about to say the same thing.

My flame hawkfish has jumped out of my tank so many times that now it is used to me touching him. He is so funny, he perches on my mag float and just watches over the tank with his big Rodney Dangerfield eyes. Love him.
