36" Lights & Skimmer

Hey Guys, I decided to go with a 40 breeder and I have the tank up and cycling, but still waiting on all my rock ect... from BRS to get to here on Wens. I need help picking out a cost effective light that will grow LPS.

I currently have a 36" PC dual Bulb 12000k daytime and the other is missing - not sure if I should even replace it or get a new unit.

I would like to have something with a timer built in so I don't have to monkey with it as I work 12 hour days.

Please suggest anything Cost Effective for a 40 breeder. I am also looking for a HoB Skimmer for this tank.

Todd's torch looks the best you'll ever see under PCs. For LPS, you can get away with PCsor T5s and get fantastic coloration. Bulb colors can be changed to suit particular tastes. If you just want simple on/off timers, they can be had for a song at any big box store. Wally World, target, Lowes, HD.

Comb the used forum, I'm sure you'll find something. I had a 40b tank a ways back. I liked the Tek T5 fixture with LEDs for shimmer effect and actinic supplementation.

Ive got a 36'' t-5 sunpod. Bulbs are fairly new and its got built in timers.

I have a 150 x 2 with 4x 3 foot t5 aqusticlife fixture that needs 2 ballasts and a built in timer. The ballasts are simple to replace. 75 bucks as is. 200 and ill replace the ballasts.
