4 Bulb T5 - It can be done!...?

I run a Current 54w 4 bulb setup as well, I get great sps growth results. Here is a fts.

An example of the growth I get from my current 54w 4 bulb t5 fixture.

I dunno which phrase I should use " It can be done " or " It may be done" . IME with 4 T5 it may work but later you may realise ur SPS are begging for more. I have nearly 75 g tank 20 " tall and my ATI Sunpower 4*39 W Fixture 8" over water line and 13" to closest Acropora 17" to fartest Monti. I will add a 2 more bulbs. I have only SPS. At the end it will depend on depth of an aquarium and needs of the corals.

I love the aquariums above by the way :)

I am a believer...300 gallon DD under ATI Powermodule 4x80. Blue+, Purple+, Coral+ and Atinic.

Beautiful tank. However, your YT video shows 3 Kessils behind the ATI unit. So strictly not 4xT5? Or did you add the Kessils recently?

So everything we learned from the old school ways; we can discard, we now find that we can grow SPS with less lighting, not exaggerated overkill flood the tank with bright lights.
In other forums I have also read phosphate and nitrate need not be brought down to zero in order for SPS to survive with better colors and growth.
Now, just recently; I heard from LFS that flow in the SPS tank is now also exaggerated, there are tanks with less flow and the corals have full polyp extensions. Confused.

So, you have proven that this light set-up indeed can work for you, I am assuming by your pictures your params are in great stable condition. The combination of light, params, and husbandry can achieve and get this kind of result. Some of us are not that lucky.
