Little update, waiting on gl*******s shipment which should be here tuesday to start the plumbing.
Gotta build the light, do plumbing, build sump then test system

AHH! That makes much more sense. I was hoping I just wasn't seeing what was going on, I thought "Getting to all that stuff through the little end there is going to SUCK!"

lol thanks, building led soon and all my plumbing stuff came in today.

shitty part i ordered 1'' ball valves when i really needed 3/4

That stand looks great, I really like how you have the cut out for the Reefkeeper make it very clean looking.

ok i have 2 suggestions to make on this build
i do not know how good you are at working with glass but what u can do is remove your top trim and with 800 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper on a belt sander go to the side where you want ur over flow at and slowley sand the glass a way to 1/8 inch below the trim and then sand the trim up 1/2 inch on that side make a exturnal overflow with the bean over flow to it and it will look nice and not take up any space with in ur tank

Bummer! Nothing like getting the wrong pieces. Really like how the stand is turning out though, the craftsmanship is obvious. Keep on truckin!

Nice job so far, looking forward to the rest ... are you worried with that many holes in one small piece of glass weakening it?

i was worried to drill it, but once the bulkheads are in place they give the glass plenty of strength. also a 40breeder is 1/4 in glass
