On Wednesday afternoon, I brought my first fish home who are currently in phase 1 of the tank transfer method: two ocellaris that are about 6 months old. I watched about 18 different pairs for an hour and these two seemed to be inseparable with no visible aggression and healthy appetites. They have been eating small amounts and swimming around happily. I will post a picture in 10 days once they are in the quarantine tank.
I have also been accumulating a variety of corals which I will post a photo of this weekend. The list is: kenya tree, two kinds of pulsing xenia, a frogspawn, a tiny duncan, a devils hand, branching gsp, a few softies that I don't know the names of, two different kinds of zoas which are mostly green, and 4 different mushrooms. Everything seems to be happy and growing quickly. I managed to get every coral for free or a trade which is pretty awesome. I have been unbelievably patient with this hobby (tank is over 6 months old) and it has been really gratifying to finally get livestock and to see everything doing so well.
