Mine is about the same color. I have it almost towards the bottom though. Im suprised it went from a poo brown base to blue in about a week. Since I took off my phosban reactor offline a couple of weeks ago, I might have some PO4 present too thats preventing the polyps turning red. That thing I told you about starts tommorow.

Sweet! I was really worried when I saw how brown it was, but I'm not complaining now. 
I'm thinking about adding a PO4 sponge of some kind, this algae is getting rediculous... Nothing's eating it so it must be nasty. I'm a little mad about my PO4 test kit though, it's still showing 0, there has to be some in there to generate all this... ???
On a side note, I no longer have any heat issues... Before my chiller was kicking in a few times a day. Not a big deal, but if it's doing this in Winter, Summer will kill me! I slapped on a couple fans and my tank dropped over 4 degrees! Maybe more since the chiller kept if from going over 82... Anyway, I'll take some shots of the fans soon, definately a great alternative!

I came close during winter break but we bought a better computer instead so the tank will be on hold for a lot longer.

PO4 tests only test for one kind of phos. (inorganic, I believe). The other kind of phos can still fund algae growth.

Nice placement on the fans! jonthefb would be the guy I'd ask. His phosphorus presentation was pretty darn good.

Over all it's doing great! Everything is really starting to branch out! As for the cerealis, same here bro... I've got the main colony down low, a frag up high, and another in my Dad's tank and they all look about the same... If anyone wants to take a stab at it, I'll frag up my main colony for 10 bucks each (got some supplies to buy)... Here's what it's suppose to look like according to Reefer Madness.
