400w setups?

Does anyone have a SE 400w setup pulse or electronic ballast in the area that would be willing to see if they can fire a brand new Coralvue Reeflux 400w bulb for me?

The bulb would not fire on my magnetic probe ballast setup or Phillips. Premium Aquatics said that sometimes if fired on pulse or electronic first, they will then work. I want to see if the bulb is good or not before raising a significant amount of cane with the Reef Stop and Coralvue about returning it under warranty.

Any help would be appreciated...............also in the form of a frag for your troubles.

I dropped off a 400w pulse start at Jo-Mar's quite some time ago, you can probably ask Ron or Barry about it.

Chris - appreciate the suggestion.

Talked to Ron about it today, he said that someone had picked it up.

Someone else mentioned Fuji. Not sure if he uses 400w, I know he has some DE.

they are 400 watt but I don't remember if they are SE or DE

Fairly certain that the lights over his acrylic sell tank by the register has SE bulbs in it.

I think those are 250's I could be wrong though.

Mary and Fuji each have one so hopefully I can get it resolved tonight.

1 thing for sure, no more "The Reef Stop" orders for me.
