40g breeder w/ lta?

im in the process of converting all my nanos into a 40g breeder 36x18x16 and plan on have the current nova extreme 4x39w T5 fixture, will an LTA do ok under this? do you think i should run all daylights? the fixture comes w/ 2 10K ho lamps and 2 actinics, should i swith out one or both actinics in order to get more power?

I've got the same fixture over a 30 gal breeder with the factory bulb setup, and an LTA which is doing just fine.

ive got a 40 breeder with 4 T5's with ice cap reflectors:
1 12K
1 450nm
1 6K
1 420nm

I am keeping a mixed reef with clams, soon to have an anem...So I dont see a problem with the LTA, except for not having individual reflectors...It really does make a huge difference.

what is 450nm and 420nm what does that mean i know they are common t5 bulbs just what colors are they
does anybody use the pink t5s on their tanks in the us i saw these in use in the uk makes the lps really pop
