Just remember slow and steady wins the race! You will get there.The mudding around the plumbing/wire access opening is really proving difficult. I was hoping to begin priming and painting today but. It didn’t get that far. Likely going to need a couple more coats of mud
I'm not sure which one to believe. But, I've been reading that the Hanna CA and MG are not the most accurate. To be fair, the instructions state to use DI water as part of the sample and I've been using my RODI that I store in a Brute trashcan.
I've used Salifert for decades and was always happy with them.
Most of the Hanna were given to me by a friend getting out of the hobby and, I've been happy with them so I decided to add to them by buying the Ca test. But, based on what I've been reading, I may go back to Salifert for Calcium. I don't have a Mg Hanna and, again based on what I'm reading, I likely won't get that one either.

I wish mine were that close.
Salifert test for CA comes back between 420-440ppm. It’s my “expected” result.
CA Hanna was 486ppm. Just can’t buy that. If it would get me similar results, I’d might believe.
The sample size is hard to get the same each time with their tool.
I think this is a contributor to my varied results.

I'm back at work this week so, I haven't gotten anything more done. I'm off tomorrow so, I will hopefully be able to make some progress.
Just lightly sanded and then wet sanded seam 2. Have the fan drying it now but, I think I’m finally done mudding…will see once dry. Also picked up primer from Menards today so, I might be doing that later.

Since I plan to have the sump, frag tank and (possibly) fuge in the fish room, I’m thinking 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint. Then seal along the bottom with silicone before putting the baseboard in.
