I am planning a tank with the same dimmensions. Can you tell me the thickness of the glass used to build the tank?

How do you feel the Leds are working on corals? I am very esceptic about leds, and I am planning to use MH, but want opinions before decide.

The glass is 3/4".

I am very happy with the LEDs. It takes a while to get them dialed in but they seem to be working great at this point. They are very bright, have great color, cheaper to operate and they run so much cooler than MH.

Thank you. It is supposed to be a strawberry shortcake coral. I got it from Aqua SD.

With a mixed reef that is in the works, I have been contemplating the Regal Angel. Has she behaved for you or are any LPS getting nipped at? If the Regal has been leaving the corals alone, do you attribute this to the feeding routine or anything else?

I just bought a house in another city myself, and the wife has given me the green light to upgrade before I transfer everything from my current tank down. I intend to steal a few idea's from your build.

The Regal has been a model citizen with my corals. I did try some zoas but they didn't last long. So far so good with everything else. I feed twice a day and she eats like a beast so maybe thats why???

No real changes at this point. I have ordered a rimless 24x24x12 frag tank that I should have by Friday. Once I get it plumbed into the system I will post some pics.
