410 gal in wall build SW Florida

Wow!! This is one of the coolest in wall tanks I have ever seen. My dream is that one day I can build a house a dream house to include a custom fish room. I will definitely be following this!

Took 4 days but the tank is finally full of water.

I got my water storage bins installed and plumbed. Also got all of my Vortec Pumps and controllers installed. Doesn't look like a lot of work but it took me all day.

Added some live sand and a piece of live rock to get the cycle started. We'll see how long it takes. If anyone has any suggestions about the cycle let me know.

Looks clean and well planned!
Dont know from the picture if you have another pump to mix the RO with the salt?
Is it better to feed the fuge with clean water (after the skimmer) or directly from DT? WHY?

Beautiful setup. I always enjoy getting to see "under the hood". What kind of flooring do you have in the equipment room? My equipment room will require yanking out the current carpet over the concrete slab and then deciding on a replacement. I was planning on putting down tile but haven't decided yet.

There is a pump plumbed into the saltwater bin as well. It is on the back side and goes directly to the sump. Will be great for water changes.

The floor is an epoxy finish right over the concrete floor. It has several blue flakes in it as well as some hologram chips. Turned out pretty cool considering I didn;t plan it that way. When the floor guy found out what I was doing he came up with the idea and did it for free!

Steve, I live in Tampa and have been looking for storage bins like that....where did you get them? Thanks.....Nice build by the way.

I ordered them from US Plastics. The shipping was a little expensive but otherwise I thought they were a good bargain. Give them plenty of lead time from when you need them. They are made to order. Very happy with the way they turned out. If you get out this way give me a shout and stop by.

Dont tempt me man!!! I am about to start a duel 500g build....I may show up on your front porch to steal ideas!

Got my fist batch of fish in the other day. All are doing well and waiting in my two quarantine tanks. A few weeks and they should be good to go.
