Hey Lawrence,

Excellent rock work. I really like the arch. You used Portland cement? If you haven't already done so, could you explain the process a little and why you chose regular cement over a reef related product like what Marco Rocks sells?

Its not regular cement, its a portland white cement,I was going to use emaco s88 but I can't find locally and the guy that I was buying it from gave it to me too late. Either way the cement cure properly , but it took over 3 months of curing it to make it super strong.

Lawrence,

Looks good. Now we can start collecting corals together.

When you are bored with the Achilles in a couple of weeks I got first dibs on the large one, I need to replace my girlfriend's Achilles. :)

I will start with what I have on end of October hopefully I can add nice SPS in December.
The Achilles stays I work hard to keep him fat and healthy. I got another Achilles coming and my friend might trade his hybrid to me, its very expensive thou so I might sell it for him since my tank can't accept more fish. Until next year.

I also will get a gold flakes as a special order that got delayed , I don't know if I can keep it since my hyposalinity will end in 3 weeks. My qt tank is full with tinkeri butterfly for a friend up north and 3 regs sea regal angel :(

In 2 weeks i have to quarantine 2 black tangs again and 2 more achilles my 40 gallon will be their home for the next 6 weeks.

I don't have any fish on the tank
Hyposalinity failed so far no casualty but my fish have really bad ick for 2 weeks on salinity of 1.0080

Great looking fish! Do you plan on moving the goldflakes and black tangs over to the DT when they grow large?
Hope the ich is cleaned up soon.

Are you treating ich with copper?

Yup 2 qt tank
I sold the 2 black tangs and gold flake so I can qt my fish properly and not over crowded. Ick still there after 3 days of copper . Fish are still eating and active.

My main tank have some corals already and probably get all the corals before I move the fish back in December.

thanks.
the old tank never bust!It is also an acrylic.
BTW i just scratch it yesterday despite of great preparation.
.5" mostly unnoticeablebut i know its there!:sad1:
glass(starphire) is great but not for a big tank here in California

Why do you say large starfire tanks are not good in Cali?

Wow! Great everything.

Whats your maintenance schedule and clean up crew?

Do you have any lps? When I had a moorish idol he loved them.
