440 SPS Build (SPS Newb)

weird. that was not there earlier today. I will look into it. Does anyone have a better way to upload pics onto RC? I was planning to start loading pics this week.

ok, yeah that is not gonna work. They want to charge 400 a year to have your pics be able to work on here...

Yup, photobucket decided to dig their grave by trying to charge obscene annual rates to let you share pics. You can still share your album where people will have to be redirected to photobucket to view your pics. I used to love photobucket, but it seems that over the years they've been taking a steep nose dive. This insane new fee structure was the nail in the coffin.

I almost choked on my sammich when I saw their rates. They've lost their minds over there..

Very frustrating what photobucket has done. A lot of great threads have been severely impacted by this.

Makes you wonder if that was always part of the plan. Get people very deeply rooted, then see how many will pay up. It's definitely impacted a lot of threads in all types of forums.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to post pictures now that we cannot use photobucket? I have some pics of the build to start posting finally :)

you can attach them directly to the forum, go advanced mode for your reply and there is a paperclip thingie for attaching pics.

or you can use imgur or flickr

The trouble with using RC as your image host is that it is very slow, the images are small, and only people who are logged in as members can see them. I suggest you look to other hosting services like imgur or Flickr. Some have tried using Google Images but this seems very difficult to do at present.

Tapatalk makes it pretty easy. It just grabs it from your local device. So, you don't have to upload them first.
