440 VHO Lighting

what kind of clams can i keep in a standard 75g with 440 VHO lighting (has reflector if that matters)? thanks.

I had my t.crocea under 440 vhos and It had great improvement. its color darkened and it grew. It was only 4" deep though. And I gave the tank phyto couple times a week. I might have been lucky so I cant say you would have same success. The T. gigas and T.squamosa are supposed to require less light.These pics were taken when I first got clam and then about a month later.

I got a squamosa in my parents 75g. under 440 watts of vho and its in the sandbed.

My squamosa is doing great in my 58 with 4X95 watt VHO. My tank is only a 58 but that should be roughly the same watts per gallon as a 75.

I'd stick to a squamosa or a derasa. THey should be ok.
