45 Galllon Cube. My dream tank...only smaller!

Just an update on my request to GEO to build me the ato container and probe holder. He and I are ironing out a plan on the container for how the hose will exit the container but he thinks he can get it to me by early next week and the probe holder is a go. $10 for the holder with 2 probe slots and 2 1/4" slots for dosing lines. All have setscrews to hold them in place and the whole thing will be held to the sump via earth magnets. Im also gonna get a frag rack from him for when I need it after my QT tank is broke down and sold. Just waiting on my buddy to be ready to take it along with the interceptor treatment to be done. Dont want to give him a tank of red bugs. That aint cool!

Please tell me if the video is choppy and low quality please. I recorded in 1080i at the lowest bitrate to keep the upload possible with my internet connection. I think I may have to open a youtube account to upload hd videos to. Can anyone tell me if its possible to do HD in photobucket?

Hey Chris!

Super Video! Congrats!
But when it loads here it doesnt show that its a video...i dunno how its for others...
I realized its a video link only coz you had mentioned it and i clicked it...otherwise it just looks like a pic upload...
Hope ya get what i mean, theres no "play" sign on the pic...

I think you can upload HD vids in Photobucket but i think you have to have a paid subscription to upload bigger files into the bucket...not 100% sure about that though.

The video looks great to me...."whaaaackkk" (slap on the butt)...keep it up!!

lol noob, yeah i was just testing to see if it would work or not, not meant to be a real video. Now that I know I can at least load one without it taking all day then I go ahead and make a decent one, or at least try. Then I think ill sign up for a youtube account. It kills me to have such a nice video camera and never use it for my hobby. Only use is to capture my son pickin his nose! lol

Hey the video is pretty cool man.

Like Noob said though, I never would have known it was a link until I read where you were asking about the video quality.

Ok, wont be using the bucket for video. GOing now to sign up for youtube. So was the video choppy for you guys? It is on my laptop, pus there was a dramatic loss of quality. I might sign up for vimeo since you can do 1080p60 there. Only issue is that youd have to follow a link there I think. Would you all be willing to do that? THe video quality is worth it.

lol, im not a bad videographer, just havent had much practice with the uploads and sharing due to my internet connection. So how do I embed the video in the post to where you can just click it and it plays on this page?

sorry, all videos will be available in 1080p hd so make sure you click on the resolution tab. Ill be making more here in the days to come now that I have 4g service. Ill likely exceed my 5gig allowance but oh well I need some video before I do the redbug treatment incase things dont go well...

You tube, vimeo and others will provide the embedded link for you to place in your post that will do the trick.. It will look something like this with a < in the beginning and a > in the end of the statement...

iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DHAn-78axrE?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe

Heres a picture from my cell phone. Jbanks talked about how great his camera picked up the true color of his tank and I gotta agree, this is the best representation of the colors of my tank. The focus is terrible but hey, its in my shaky hand.

Heres a few videos I just did with no processing due to not having a hd editor. Anyone know of a good free one? I dont want to spend the money for one of the high end ones like vegas pro or phtoshop...and I dont want to cheap out and get Nero so im stuck with windows movie maker which youtube doesnt accept its file type.
