Me either. I realized this morning that my hinges were the wrong type. They made the door 2" too short. Doh. Ill have to go get different ones today...

thanks noob, not sure I want to be an electripenter...doesnt really have a ring to it does it? My dad is a custom cabinet maker that has never taught nor helped me with anything but I feel its maybe in my blood cause it seems easy and fun when I do it...not sure though, I can make anything if I put my mind and tools to it! lol

THanks guys, I even impressed myself with this one! lol They turned out 10x better than I thought they would for never having built doors before and being on a time crunch. Best of all is that they work! My son cant figure out how to get in there now...its fun to watch him try though. lol He had turned the skimmer down again yesterday before I got the doors on so it was a needed addition.
 
Well I've been away for 4 days from my house. While the weather is gorgeous here in Colorado, I miss my tanks and the not knowing is killing me. Here's to returning to a healthy Dino free tank! Lol I'll be home tomorrow at 5pm so I'll give an update and a few pics since they'll be the last for awhile. My surgery is Monday at 5:30am. I'll try to stay in touch wit the board and give as much of an update as possible from the bed after I get released from the hospital but they may be few and far between.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that's participated in my build and tO the friends I've made on this forum. Talk to u all soon I hope...

I lied our engIne wouldn't start so we are back at the gate and are likely to miss our connecting flight...fanfreakintastic
 
Ok guys, I'm finally home! Yeah at least the same day I was supposed to get here...anyways, the tank looks great! Color has improved, Dino's are all but gone and there was noticeable growth so I can't complain. My skimmer was just foul so it obviously didn't go on vacation lol. I'll snap some pictures tomorrow before my last water change that'll be preformed by me for awhile.

I had to do what I didn't want to do before I left. I hooked the fuge back up because I didn't want my house sitter to have to care for it as another tank. I'm hoping what I saw on the one acro last week was just a copepod. I'm sure I'm delusional and just well wishing though. In the end I just didn't have the time to deal with more interceptor treatments right now anyways. So it is what it is right now. Time will tell. I gotta think bringing it back online helped the tank the most with no hands in tank a close second.

Like I said I'll post pics tomorrow.

The treatment should have clearly worked coz the corals are doing well and good.
We all will be waiting for the updates :)
 
Here are the last pics for awhile. THey arent that good cause I reset my WB while on vacation and dont have time today to reset it back to the tank. Ill post two WB settings to give you a "its in between these two in reality" type thing. The good thing about having this surgery is that there wont be any hands in the tank and that always leads to good things, at least IMO.
