450 Gallon complete set up on CL

Usually ends up being like 180 or something like that. I saw one one time that said they had 2k lbs of rock. Asked him if he was sure about that, and admitted he had no clue.

Just got a reply from the guy:

the tank is 100L x 24h x 42w and the tank has an aluminum frame all the way around it here are some pics. taking offers for now to see if anyone is serious everything is included all fish, corals, rock. I have 5 tangs, 2 cardinals, 2 anthiast, 5 green chromis, 1 sixline wrasse, 1 copperband butterfly, 1 lamarch angel, 1 scribbled rabbitfish, numerous corals mostly soft leathers, cleaner shrimp and peppermint shrimp, 2 spiny urchins and a large starfish.

He also sent pictures if anyone wants to see them.

How much is he asking? Post a pic. I'd be interested to see just for curiosity sake. That is definitely a 450.

edit: just saw, he is taking offers for now.

Usually the thickness has to do more with the height of the tank than anything else, so if he has it braced well then I guess that would work. Wonder what kind of price he's looking to get for the system.

By my calculations it comes to 436, but at that point who's counting. Post up some pics I would be interested in seeing it.

Here is what he sent me:

He is thinking 5000.00 which I would say is about 3500.00 to much considering the mickey mouse lighting system, mickey mouse stand, and no stand outs on coral , the red slime problem. What do you guys think ?

He has some nice healthy livestock...and a lot of rock in there. I agree with the assessment that its about 3500 too high. If economic conditions were better, might get 2k, but that's a high end for that system. If he had awesome equipment, maybe more, but can't tell that, and I doubt it given the lack of SPS or LPS (apparently)

now that i look at it agin the red slime problem i wouldnt even look to buy this tank that would be a pain to clean up and it looks terable

for the most part its in the substrate...that will go away with moving the tank anyway...I wouldn't avoid this tank because of the red slime.
