450 here

I "try" to never borrow anything. It seems that every time I borrow a tool (chainsaw, power washer, etc.) it breaks on me. So I end up going and buying a new one to finish the job and then give the new one back to the person I borrowed from. So in the end, all I did was buy a new tool for one single job. I'd much rather buy a new tool for myself to do one job and store it with all my other junk and never use it again!

NICE TANK!

ChadsCamaro... dont worry, those sawhorses dont look like much, but have a 1200 lb load rating for each one.

When is the pizza party so we can all rub the new tank????

That stands don't look that great. Why don't you build something nice.

I will, I need to let the wife settal down:mad2: I dont think she was to happy:lol: I work tomorro so I will not have time to mess with it. I hope it dosnt take to long. Pizza night will be coming sone hopfuly in a week or to I will pm intrested partys when the time comes.

From what I can tell from the wrap the tank is just what I wanted the erou bracing is going to be nice. The back overflows add alot of space in the tank proper. I was going to do a closed loop but the more I think about it the less I think I'm going to do it. Tunze's are going to be my sorce of flow I really like them other than the looks but it will be less noise and chance of leaks.

Sure, I come on today talking about how I got a 90 gallon, then you come on saying you've got something 5 times bigger!

Can't wait to see it in action.

I can only say wow and dang, thats a lot of tank. Congradulations !

I thought Dave said, "Why don't you build it out of some rice".
I got excited about the thread and read it too fast.

Thats a pretty awesome tank, but it does look like you guys are at your own funeral and are going to be buried in the tank.

Thanks all and the why it looks like a funaral is now that it is in my basement I'm thinking ( how am I going to pay for this )
And when you see it the euro brace looks like a casket opening. If my wife has anything to say about it it will be what Im baried in it.

So is that the final resting place for the tank or are you going to put it where the other tank is sitting?

Right there mabey a little to the left closer to my 215. I still need to decide if I'm going to cut the wall out to put the overflows in it so it does not stick out to far into the room.

John, id say you have to cut the wall out for the overflows, no way to clean them out if its against the wall, well no easy way, i would recess them to the wall, it stuck out pretty far in the room.LMK when you want to start on the stand.
