LITTLETON, Colo. - A dentist found the source of the toothache Patrick Lawler was complaining about on the roof of his mouth: a four-inch nail the construction worker had unknowingly embedded in his skull six days earlier.

A nail gun backfired on Lawler, 23, on Jan. 6 while working in Breckenridge, a ski resort town in the central Colorado mountains. The tool sent a nail into a piece of wood nearby, but Lawler didnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t realize a second nail had shot through his mouth, said his sister, Lisa Metcalse.

Following the accident, Lawler had what he thought was a minor toothache and blurry vision. On Wednesday, after painkillers and ice didnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t ease the pain, he went to a dental office where his wife, Katerina, works.

I didn't realize it happened either. I knew that the gun double shot so I checked the stand - it wasn't there; checked the wall across the room, it wasn't there; checked the floor and then finally looked at my finger...

I saw an xray of one that penetrated through a guys hat right between the 2 sides of the brain dead in the middle of the forehead with no permenant damage. Well maybe he's more artistic now! ;) I think the guy was on Oprah or some show too. Him and his buddy were finishing a basement and it misfired, they looked around for awhile for the nail, then when he went to take his hat off he couldn't.

And that's the event that led me to acquire Steve's (mayo's) previous 10 gal tank and got me going in the SW hobby.

Thanks Steve!

hey john I guiess I met you at MS WE spoke briefly you said you were getting a450 I guess you got it thats nice I`m sticking to my 200 though . Ive found in my experiance those bigger tanks are alot more work but con grats . take care of those monster fish .

I am ready to get this thing going

than after I get done with your I am going to finish my projects

any day this week I can come out and finish it

recirculating of the skimmer I hope the base is big because of turbulence with recirculating beckets the bases seems to be bigger

I'm finding that out now, right now I'm topping off with 8 gallons a day and I dont even have lights and the sump going but I was taking care of a 215 180 and a 30 gal and those will be gone other than the 30.

Chad I got all the drains rough plumded and the skimmer pump plummed. I still need to fix the leak but ran out of time kid going to bed.
