45G or Reefer 170 tank dosing

I know every tank is different, depends on amount of corals, types, clams, etc etc and the salt used for water

On general though, how much alk, cal and mag do you dose daily or weekly?

I was trying to figure out my tank's dosage, was about to get a doser (GHL/Pac Sun) but I just changed to RS Coral Pro salt so have to start again.

weird thing was, after a 20% wc, I did an alk test using salifert....twice....got 9.6dkh and 9.5dkh

7th Nov: Alk=9.6 Cal=450 Mag=1350
10th Nov: Alk=8.9 Cal=450 Mag=1350

weird...I would have figured Cal would go down

The alkalinity dropped 0.7 dKH, which corresponds to a drop in calcium of 5 ppm. That's within the error limits of the testing equipment. My soft coral tanks went through 2-3 dKH per day due to coralline algae growth.
