Thanks bud, the longer I have my tank up the more I realize that when u have to many stuff in your tank to kinda keep everything in check because that's what everybody says u should do, the more open u are for making mistakes and become a slave of your tank, and if something brakes u are f**** because everything works together

Hey Miguelh, I got the same light 46inch version on a 75 gallon. Im getting ready to start up.

Just curious what do you run your blues and whites at and for how long?

I am thinking Ill stick to soft corals as I have plenty of stony corals in my 180. I was think since they are only .25 watt leds, probably about max. maybe 100% blues 80% whites. Probably run blues 12 hours and white 8 or something of the sort.

Am running on timer 3 I think it is 100% blues and white, timer 3 is the longest one so I think it is 12 and 10 or something like that, I have the manual at home can not find it online, if u have the manual it explains how much it is on timer 3 for how long, if u can't find it let me know so I can send u a pic tonight

Creepy, looks like chicken pox! Too each his own I guess. Definitely has some inherent beauty however I personally think they are kind of gross looking haha.
 
Lmao that's honestly very true, for example so far I don't find sps all that pretty, and I believe every body else does lol
 
I do have a monti myself and two more sticks because those where the first corals I got, but they haven't convince me yet

Im not a huge SPS fan either, but thats the best part of the hobby...keep what YOU like! For me its anemones and everything else is just frosting on the cake..

Lol, I honestly want a bubble tip anemone, do they actually really move a lot? I don't want it to kill any of my corals
 
It will hunt for a spot it likes, but then they usually are quite behaved..at least IME. I say go for it! You will learn much and they are awesome creatures!

I bet, is there any difference between the green ones and the red ones or pink?
