48 hours in a shipping - Is this Tyree Favia OK?

Nothing to see Move along
So I bought this Favia frag and USPS missed their deadline. I live in CO so the temp can get low. The water was 64 degrees when I opened the box. The frag has been in the tank for 3.5 hours.

Does it look ok to you?

Also, what are the little white strings coming off of it?

Thanks in advance, John

Mesa-something filaments, they come out when stressed or attacking but honestly so far it looks unhappy but no flesh falling off or anything terrible, favias are pretty hardy, it should pull through fine.

Keep it in an area of good flow...but not directly hitting it...if you notice any tissue coming off, that's where the problem will start. Also keep it lower in the tank until it adjusts. Good luck.

Thanks all for the quick response!

The clean up crew is not anywhere near it so at least they don't think it is dead!

Right now it is in the lower half in a region of indirect flow. Putting it lower will put it in an area of no flow or lots of flow.
