4th Anniversary Pictures

Simply amazing! I'm going to spend the next month studying your website you posted. I'm seeing some growth but my colors are embarrassing compared to yours. LOL! I don't want to sound greedy but would you happen to have a high res shot of your tank? I sure would love one as a background for my 1920x1200 monitor. :D

Keith, I have a couple of questions....

You stated once that you were going to experiment with Oyster Eggs and Rotifers, did you start using them? If so, how often did you dose and did you see any real results? Do you use any phyto?

Thanks man!

I got a better idea. I need one that is 4' x 18" tall and I'm going to just paste it on the front glass of my tank. Instant nice tank. LOL

Thanks folks!

Damn brodda sorry to hear that! that thing was full of all kinds of awesome! but not as awesome as the Oregon tort :)! the baby i got from you is now looking like a real frag lol. Even with Ca Rx, high in the tank, it has not grown as much as the purple monster lol. Also the yellow tort is now a mini colony surpassing all the frags i got from you. Well you let me know when that Plasma becomes big enough to get me a frag again :), maybe i will have to take a look at your site for some new frags, going with a bigger tank soon so will need some more nice SPS.
Glad to hear the frags are doing well. Let me know if you need another fix :twitch:

Outstanding system, and ya gotta love radiums.

So how many GPH flowing - guessing 20,000+/- with the size of those colonies. Dave
Thanks!

I figured that out a while ago and I forgot the # :o

Here is what I have in terms of circulation.

Return pumps: Two Blueline 70s; In tank circulation: Two Tunze 6200s with Tunze 7095 Multicontroler, One Ecotech Marine MP40

And thank you! I don't have a recent high res shot but here is an older one.

I have been using Reef Nutrition Roti Feast and Oyster Feast for about 2 years now. I use a teaspoon of each once a day when I feed the fish. I keep the skimmer on. I did see some big improvements in colors when I started using it but I also started to feed my fish more so that may have also had something to do with it.

I was just wondering....i've been using it for a few months now and the colors seem to be getting better. Our club will be hosting Randy from Reef Nutrition next month along with Tony Vargas. I'm really looking foreword to it.

Thanks for the reply!

Looks good, that's about what I would expect after 4 years of growth. I'm a little over half way there and mine is definately catching up to that. I'm not looking forward to all the fragging, already tired of it.

You have some pretty huge colonies for only 4 years!!! Crazy! And very colorful contrast and pleasent aquascape to go along with it!! Very inspirational to say the least!

I see you have 2 TOTM under your belt....it won't be long till we see the 'triple crown'....;)

Keith,
The tank is awesome. I cant wait for my to grow. I have started with a lot of 1inch frags so hopefully I will be in your shoes in about 3 years.

What lens are you using to get the real close up shots?
