Our 4th annual frag swap will be Saturday, May 21st, from 12-4pm at the same location as last year:

We will have the main swap in the same room as last year, but we've gotten another room directly across the hall for the raffle prizes, raffle ticket sales, and vendor overflow if needed, so there will be plenty of room for all.


FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BE A TABLE VENDOR:

please contact us at montgomeryreefclub@yahoo.com and let us know if you'd like to set up. Table costs will remain the same at $10/table. If you want to set up a tank and use the stand your tank comes with, that is fine. But, that will be considered a table as well.


Vendors will be able to set up starting Friday afternoon at 5pm. If you must get into the room sooner or want to set up later Friady night, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Man I had a great time at the one last year. I was the tall skinny guy from Memphis in the corner right by the door that went outside. One of the guys that went with me last year is out of the hobby now so I wouldn't have anybody to help split traveling cost. I had just upgraded back in January too. I bought a fully established 150g dominantly SPS Reef. Was doing great until about four weeks ago and alot of it bleached out. I think I finally figured out the problem though. Would have been able to have tons of nice frags. Oh well maybe next year I guess. If anyone is on the fence about going or setting up, just do it! Good folks and good times.

Mike got out. He was the one that made the stand and canopy that was raffled off. He didn't have time for the hobby right now.

The swap has been postponed due to the events of this past week. We will be rescheduling, but we do not have a new date as yet.

Yeah Gary, I actually talked him into going to St. Louis about a month after Nashville. He had the same problem again so he lost interest in the hobby.

We were pretty well unaffected down here. It started a little north of us and extended north through Alabama (to around the Tn border). We had lots of wind the day before, but no straight lines, heavy winds, or tornados. I can't imagine...
