4th of July Zoas!!!

Wow sweet pics dude!! I love zoanthids. I keep collecting them and now have over 50 different kinds. My wife and i got married on lanikai beach. Spent a few days on sandy beach and it's awsome there! Wish i could have brought some stuff home but figured they wouldn't let me and i didn't want anything to die because of me... Snorkled at hanauma bay and it was the best schools of fish i've ever seen in person.:lol2: What a rush swimming with them and i got pulled out further than i thought but i made it back in alright.

Why cant you collect lps and sps? Cant ship into hawaii? Maybe if you had some scuba gear you could collect some??

Cant wait to go back for one of our anniversaries!!

It's illegal to collect, keep and sell hard corals and live rocks from the reefs in HI.
Can't have any invertebrates and live rocks from other places too.
The only live rock we can buy/keep is the ones sold in LFS (Concrete artificial live rocks).

Lucky, even if all you can collect is zoas, those are awesome! All I can collect from Lake Michigan is swimmers itch :/
