5.5 AGA standard tank

Who has em? Going to use one as a top off container but can't seem to find any places that keep em in stock. Anyone know of anywhere or have one lying around for sale?

i think that a pet store forgot the name on 436 around the aloma area has 5 gallons in stock. how many where you looking for? i know someone that might have a few laying around. let me know

Was just looking for one, didn't find any in stock anywhere, so I had one ordered. I thought they were more common until i started looking.

they are a dime-a-dozen up here in ohio, wal-mart, meijer, petco.

I had alot of trouble a while back when I was looking for one. I eventually just gave up.

Yeah I was amazed. I called just about every lfs, and i'd say 90% of them didn't even know the standard 5.5 even existed. ***?

petland in waterford lake town center has them i think they are $12.99 thought you might as well use a 10 its cheaper!!!

Yeah petland was the one place that I didn't call as I refuse to give them my business for anything.

I wish I could just use a 10, believe me that would've made life a lot easier, however I'm going stealth and hiding the top off container in a decorative chest next to the tank, and a 5.5 would fit perfectly in it.

Just curious on why. I think they are all independently owned (unlike petco and petsmart). I don't go in either for the high prices - but did you have a bad experience at one?

I don't agree with the practice of selling puppy mill dogs, which each petland does (or at least every one I've ever seen).
