i use a 100 % cotton rag(old t-shirt) to apply the stain, after a good sanding ....

Yea I really like your setup. How did you build that stand/holder. I like how you did that alot and was thinking of doing that to a 10g.
 
i just made a box. with a cut of the tank side and front dimensions. i wish i had drilled the tank and add a sump. there is room back to fit another 5.5 gallon tank, but i don't want to tear it all down. maybe the next one i will.

I am **** at taking photos too haha, its hard :S Some of the guys on here blow me away with the shots they get of there tanks.

what lights are you using? I have a 14k 70w on my 6 gallon but im adding a 13w PC actinic on tuesday.my growth has been kinda slow. Is that the same frogspawn from previous pics? its growing fast if it is.
 
The tank looks very good. Corals are looking nice and colorful. I just got a 12 g nano, I hope mine turns out as good as yours has.
 
i'm using 80watt pc's. i'll be upgrading to 70 HQI and no actinic.

all the corals are the same. i haven't add anymore lps only zoa's.
i had to frag them out already, when fully open the frag i bought were too big

your tank looks good.
