50,000 litre tank in a boutique hotel (Bangkok , Thailand)

That can be a firewall issue. Especially common on office networks.

-food looks awesome. I had a roommate from Thailand, he made some awesome food.

Water flow in the sump/ refugium area with three abyzz A400 pumps . The other return line leaks slightly causing cavitation on suction to the pump . Have to take the pump out and will fix the pipe tomorrow .

Google Chrome on my laptop. I have been following this for a long time and suddenly this week the pictures just disappeared. Stranger though is that I can see pictures on some other posts but not on all.

As stated above check your firewall

Also try another browser
Im using taptalk on apple and it's working great

Everything looks amazing from the tank, plumbing, to the food! One question I do have is it looks like you are getting heavy condensation on the plumbing lines. Is there any need to do anything about that or can the pipes sweat constantly on the floor?

I don't think that is condensation, I think water sprayed out or leaked from something. Those aren't refrigeration lines...

From someone who has hundreds of feet of pvc piping running through his system. Put enough humidity in the air and even those lines will collect condensation. PVC piping is typically a pretty good insulator but it definitely happens.

That sounds sketchy to me... thailand already has 50-99% humidity throughout the day.. and the dew point still doesn't fall below 70... so.. only if it's in an air conditioned environment, at which point in thailand you would run dehumidifying heat pipes in the AC so you don't get condensation...

but.. maybe there is something else going on here i'm not seeing...

Skimmer envy.....

Yessssss

That is one serious Skimmer!

Will have to install another skimmer in the sump. Have placed the order already.

Looking good and best of luck!

Yes thanks I will be needing all the luck indeed .

Wow! Looking great!

Thanks.

How long until you set up the planted aquarium sump

In about a month time.

Looking great! One thing that I was wondering - with all the work and the acrylic only protected with the thin plastic film (that's scratched and removed in places) have you noticed any scratches on the inside of the acrylic?

Yes there are some glue and scratch marks . The contractor is under obligation to clean all the marks before receiving final payment per contract . He has a special equipment design specially for cleaning scratch marks on acrylic .

Looks delicious! Great job on the cable management too -- you'll thank yourself that you did it now instead of trying to clean it up after everything is up and running. It's hard to motivate yourself to do cabling when you have fish in the tank!

Could not agree more.

Looking great, might be a silly question but how are you going to clean the glass?

Need to scuba dive to clean the glass inside.

Did someone say food
Mmmmmm looking good

Yes foooooooooood!

Looking great, food and tank look awesome. [emoji39]

Thanks for such inspiring word.

Refrigeration lines are insulated ! The pipes are not insulated yet . I am waiting to test run the chiller system and if there is condensation on the pipes I will then insulate using the black Aero flex shield . However I am going to set the salt water temperature at 26 c inside the tank while the ambience temperature around here varies between 28c-33c so we will have to see whether there is going be condensation .

Sirichok, quick questions on pumps. I new red dragons feed chiller but what are the other pumps doing? More so the Jebao? Didn't think they were external. Is the Abyzz running an ACS module?

1) Two red dragon pumps feed the chiller.
2) One red dragon pump feeds the skimmer.
3) Three jebao pumps feed three sea swirls .
4)One jebao pump is for filling up the surge tank .
5) Four abyzz pumps are used for returns ( open loop) and therefore do not require the use of ACS module.

Surge tank installed ! However I will have to cut back the pvc pipe to install the butterfly valve to alternate the surge sequence .

Hello

You have to scuba dive to clean tank? You know mighty magnets? Acrylic is to thick to use this cleaner?

Now 4 Abyzz pumps running at 97% (open loop) Everything seems ok . Tomorrow we are testing closed loops .

Oh my! Those are the indoor temps? Do you run AC inside? Combined with the high humidity I would think that would be miserable! I live in Arkansas, USA and we have higher humidity and higher temps than many other states and it can get quite miserable here too. I couldn't go without AC! We usually keep our house in the 74-75F range in warmer months and 68-70F range in colder.

Oh! And you should get some of those prawn LIVE for the tank!

What is a surge tank?
