As per your definition, I do have a Man Fish. A blochii tang that has been there since Jan 2007. Got it as a Dussimeri, but turned out to be Blochii. Hard to miss it in the full tank shots.

Personally I am a fan of lots of small fish, rather than large fish.

Funny thing, I have the same exact fish that I bought as a Dussimeri.

How is this for the man fish ? Don't know if I am man enough to put this one in my reef. Need to get some sense of what ultimate damage I can expect if it does go into my reef.

Right now its in an observation tank, while I get to understand its behaviour, before I move it to the 55G reef. And then if I feel comfortable it could end up in the 500G.

Heed my rule of thumb on angel fish Sanjay.

Angels are devils in a reef tank! :)

Can be devils... my Regal has been in my reef for over 3 years without a problem. A LFS owner has had a Blue Face in his reef without issues for years too. I've in the past kept an Emperor and Majestic in my reef without issue. Yes they can be a problem but I've seen many large angels do fine; I’ve seen some be holy terrors. I'm not sure what the angel in the picture is but if it is a Pygmy angel I'd be much more cautious.

Sanjay, that is one awesome fish.

The nice thing about getting a few fish that are so much larger than the rest is that they are easy to catch then. The smaller fish might be able to pick at the bait on the hook, but only that large tang will actually get its mouth around the barb so you can yank it out.

Yep thats a clarion. Where did you find this hard to find fish? i know they can go for 3k+

I don't think the clarion will go after your sps.. he might nip at you're softies and lps. You need to make up you're mind whats more important to you....

I think the fish is more important, but thats me..

Here are some pictures to populate the thread. Was practicing with the camera and hate to see the pictures go to waste :-)

Great colors and textures. I wish my real pictures were as sharp as your "practice" ones! :)
