Well, this thread has been without pictures for a while, and its slipping on the wood glue
Time for some updates.
Not a lot happening.. other than the corals millimetering themselves into growth. The stupid tomini tang has developed the bad habit of picking on my duncansapomia frags. My feeding of the coral may have triggered this behaviour. Now everytime he passes by the coral he has to suck on the polyps and not let them open. Argh.. that fish may have to go, or the coral moved elsewhere.
Tank may have red bugs. Turns out the penn state tank has red bugs and I got corals from there, so there is a very strong possibility that I have them in my tank. I was quite surprised to find that, since the corals there are doing really well and and growing like they want to reach out of the water.
So i will treat my tank just to be safe. But before treating the tank I decieded I should just add some more corals and then treat the whole tank.
Did get 21 frags today from live aquaria (19 sps and 2 soft) I liked thier frags from my past experience with them and decieded to do it again.
As usual they came in packed really well. Its always nice to see that the boxes are not wet and dripping.
I was a bit concerned about the cold.. given that the temperatures here have dropped to the single digit at night, and it has to be colder in Wisconsin. They were packed really well.. tripple bagged + thick black poly, and 5 heat packs to keep them warm.
here they are waiting in the sink to be opened.
Now open !! and getting ready for a quick group photo
Now, i am off to glue them and do some aquascaping and fill up some more real estate.
sanjay.
