500g SPS Tank ( Indonesia )

amazing tank!

amazing tank!

Wow I wish we had those prices in the States! I love your rock design. I've never seen so many flat pieces stacked like that. And I love how unsymmetrical the design is yet it flows through the tank.

Call me old fashion, but maybe you are supplementing too much. I notice that when I supplement too many things at once all my corals look worse. Try kicking back on everything, but the essentials (calcium, magnesium, iodine, strontium). See how the tank reacts.

guys i need a feed back from all of you. even though my parameters are fine & i am using the zeovit supplement such as amino acid high concentrate, iron concentrate, pohl's extra concentrate, potassium iodide fluoride concentrate, stylo pocci glow ,why are some of my acro's color are fading ,especially the green color. But my green monti's are fine. Some of my birdnest color are fading too. Are the bright color acro need to be place exactly under the MH ? i am just wandering whether it is not enough lighting . if u have suggestion please share with me .Thanks a lot.

It takes a long time to master captive SPS coral in my opinion. I'm not sure your experience level but if you have fast tracked at all then you might be in for a bumpy ride. If you are new to SPS then jumping into zeovit at the same time might not be a good idea either. Unless you are only using basic zeovit supplements it is also a very complicated system which could cause you more grief.

Thanks Apayan for the advise. i think i will reduce the amount of Zeovit supplement for the time being and see how it goes.

Thanxs darrly for the advise.

Amazing tank! Must be nice to have local grown colonies for 10 bucks :D

Quick question: It looks like you put down the sand and then set the LR on top of it?

i have problem with the aquarium now. i think there are bacteria or virus that kills my fish one by one. it started since my angels are dead. i don't think i will add another fish inside the tank for the time being. i have to wait until the bacteria stop spreading.:sad1::sad1::sad1:

we too could have corals for that cheap if us hobbyists didn't fall to the crazy names and then charge the next reef hobbyist $5 less than we paid. We grow way more corals than any of the stores. If everyone charged $10 a frag to hobbyists only, the stores would have to drop their prices

+1 I'll have to sell you some of my coral as soon as they grow out.

these are few updates of new acros. Actually i bought a few of purple acro ,they are very nice , i like it very much but too bad the packaging was suck and it arrived 1/2 dead already. It was a pity. i will try to buy it again next time.

Salam Edri,

Nice tank. How I wish I knew you earlier,I visted JKT last May,should have contacted you and seen your tank and bought some SPS.

Will call you next time I am there.

you tank is amazing.. Especially how you where able to stock it so fast. I think you where able to do this successfully because your corals did not have to undergo the stress of being stuck in a box for days and then shipped to few different places before finally making it to there final destination. I just started keeping SPS 2 months ago and so far i have 4 different corals and all seem to be doing great. They all cost about $69 - $79 a piece and that is suppose to be a good price. I add slowly because iam still tryna figure out the perfect flow for them,.. enjoy watching your aquarium grow..and good luck

Thanxs ashish, i am able to stock the SPS so fast because i have a local fish store INDO REEF helping me all the information i need to keep it. maybe it is one of the reason that the corals are not too stressful. mostly , when the shipment from Bali reach Jakarta by freight, it took only 3 hours. it's good to live here :lolspin:
