500g SPS Tank ( Indonesia )

Salam Edri,

Nice tank. How I wish I knew you earlier,I visted JKT last May,should have contacted you and seen your tank and bought some SPS.

Will call you next time I am there.

Hi haksar. next time you visit Jakarta you can inform me.

woww thats amazing. I order most of my corals online from california or wisconsin. and im in Pa.. which is about 3000 miles away.. fedex 24 hours shipment. corals are packed well and the quality is high but i agree you are luckly to live where you are.

Wow that tank looks great. Can't wait to see it in 6 months when the corals have grown in & out a bit. Very nice!:inlove:

guys i need a feed back from all of you. even though my parameters are fine & i am using the zeovit supplement such as amino acid high concentrate, iron concentrate, pohl's extra concentrate, potassium iodide fluoride concentrate, stylo pocci glow ,why are some of my acro's color are fading ,especially the green color. But my green monti's are fine. Some of my birdnest color are fading too. Are the bright color acro need to be place exactly under the MH ? i am just wandering whether it is not enough lighting . if you have suggestion please share with me .Thanks a lot.

SLOW DOWN!
You've already lost fishes. Corals are next. Just because one has access to inexpensive livestock doesn't make it a winner. I'm not the only one that smells trouble brewing here.

Edric you have plenty of light, you have built an amazing system equiptment wise but you rushed into a full blown reef entirely to quickly. Your system needs to mature, there is a lot of stuff that happens chemically in a reef in the first year. IMO quit the zeo system and concentrate on the normal parameters, no reason to over-complicate an already less than ideal situation. Im not trying to be rude but my bluntness might come across that way. Im just trying to be realistic.

I would cut off my finger for the equiptment you have assembled by the way.

Hi Ryan,
if that the case i just need to wait for the tank to be really mature. at first thought , i guess i don't give enough zeovit suppliment , that's why the color are fading.now i intend to add another 2 MH XM 20K. so total i have 5 MH. i already buy the T5 KZ too to change the T5 white color. next week i will change it , because i need to redo the MH casing. Hopefully , everything goes well.

After 6 months running the SPS tank, below are the updated pics :
i am using the Grotech Coral A ,B,C + zeovit now.

It looks like his corals are doing ok, but who knows. I know I've never seen a new tank anywhere near that size instantly fully stocked with fresh, full SPS colonies.

i know some people say that it is hard to maintain new tank with full of SPS instantly , but i already try this and its been running well about 6 months now.even though there are few of them died ,but overall everything running good.

Astounding tank ... I'm even move amazed at how it has sustained in such an young tank. Fantastic effort.
