Where can i order these? I would like to purchase 3 of them for a a media filter i am making.

What do you mean by a controllable submersible?

Premium aquatics stocks them and they may be out but I have more coming in a week.

Just a submersable pump like your recirculating pumps but can be mechanically controlled. It would be nice to have one that can be adjusted to ones overflows. I have tried 3 pumps on my return all have been too fast or too slow to get a good flow and keep a good syphon speed.
Like on a driver of a stream you can manually speed or slow it down.

Oh, well, we had something like that, 7100/2 but we discontinued it because the 1073.03 is better in terms of bang for the buck. The 7100/2 had a driver and the whole bit. A 7400/2 can be used as a return pump as well. The 7100/2 was a 7400/2 with a special nozzle that enabled it to pump up to 20ft but the flow was never more than 500gph anywhere on the head curve. The 1073.03 is mechanically adjustable with a max flow of about 750gph. $300 vs $100.
