Hi All,
I was in the hobby for ~2 years with FW tanks before I had to break them down for a move. Now that I'm thinking of getting back in, I wanted to try my hand at SW. I was lucky enough to purchase a NUVO Fusion 40 complete with everything you'd need except a light (upgraded media baskets, upgraded return nozzles, protein skimmer, media canister, etc.). In my search for a quality light at a reasonable price, I'm about to find myself buying another complete setup, but this time it's a 54 gallon corner tank with 10 gallon sump. The light that comes with the setup is the Radion xr30 which I'll likely add T5s to down the road.
So now the question is which setup do I keep? I only have space for one and need to sell the other to recoup my investment. I believe the Fusion 40 is a better tank in terms of glass and design, but the added water capacity of the 54 corner + 10 gallon sump is rather appealing.
Which would you keep and why?
