stocking for a 54 gal corner tank help

Flame angel and/or Coral beauty - I love the colors on both these fish. I know they both have a slight potential to nip at corals, but to me... these are like show fish for a smaller tank. I think If I add both at the same time, and get them young, I could be ok. If it comes down to either or. I'd take the flame angel for it;s vibrant colors. I know it's a risk though.

One Spot Fox face - I really want some presence with some NICE yellow in my tank. I know everyone says yellow tangs need way more room, but I see yellow tangs in lots of tanks with less swimming and grazing room. they just trade them out once they reach a certain age. But I dont think I want to worry about that.??? any other good flash of yellow options??? Copperband butterfly?????

Fire fish - love these guys, just the regular ones, i love the vivid red orange and contrast fromt he white, along with their unique shape. Does anyone keep more than one of these guys?

Bangai Cardinal - very striking and unique shape

Chromis - want some open water zoomers

Jawfish blue dot - expensive but amazing looking, not sold on this one
completely yet. any other jawfish options.

Wrasse red velvet - so many wrasses... not sure what i like best

Pair of Clowns: what kind?

any opions on fish selection or help choosing is welcomed!

That is 9 fish in a 54gal... Probably too much but if u took out the wrasse and the fox face and instead got yellow coris wrasse and or yellow watchman goby, that would be good cause the fox face will be way to big and sad in that size tank, and if u still want a big yellow fish honestly a small yellow tang would be better so.... Probably the 2 best ways to go would be
1. Flame angel
Yellow tang
Firefish
Bangii cardinal
Jaw fish
Mckoskers wrasse
Pair of regular occolaius clowns

Or 2.
Flame angel
Yellow coris wrasse
Fire fish
Bangii cardinal
Chromis
Jaw fish
And pair of clowns

These 2 lists are still very heavy stoked so make sure u have a great skimmer and if u can get rid of 1-2 fish one the list

I also have some Qs for u... Wht skimmer r u running, wht filtration are u running

Blue dot jawfish are cooler water species. The yellow headed ones are better for normal tanks. Plus that'll give you some yellow, and not such a dent to the wallet.

Gold assessors are a good flash of yellow (expensive though). http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+21+1422&pcatid=1422
Or a royal gramma, they are half yellow, very vibrant and nice and hardy (and cheap).
Live aquaria also lists a few yellow chromis options. Or the yellow watchman goby like Vince said. There are actually quite a few nice yellow gobies - I like the neon gobies, they come in a gold variety also and despite being a goby, they are up in the water column and perch on rocks quite a bit (so they are more active around the tank).

Ocellaris / Percula clowns are the least aggressive, esp. as they pair up.

Firefish - you can keep 2 as long as they are a M/F pair. They are timid but they do hang out in the water column. I had one and enjoyed him a lot. They should be among the first fish in the tank so they can get established without harassment.

A lot of these guys require a secure hood / netting deal. I had a wrasse jump from the holes around a heater / skimmer, they are pretty accomplished jumpers. Firefish and jawfish likewise (though neither of those guys jumped for me - I had a dusky jawfish).

thanks for the posts

Tank has now been up and running for 3-4 weeks, cycles almost complete, partial clean up crew has been going strong in there. Also a small GSP frag is doing well so I'm almost there! i've been good and patient! lol

so now I'm pretty sure on the following fish in order

Phase 1

clowns: pair
1 bangai cardinal

Phase 2

1 firefish
1 royal gramma

Phase 3

wrasses - 1-3
can I have 3?
ive been looking at
christmas wrasse, mscoskers, and red velvet
