540 Acylic FOWLR

That looks awsome!

This room will look great when all is done, great attention to detail so far.
 
Glued some baffles into the sump and put a first coat of white on the stand and canopy, I think I am going to add 1 more baffle wall on the right side of the tank from the top down to the middle of the tank if I have enough room, I am going to test it out tommorrow to see if bubbles will be a problem.

Cut a tooth out of the over flow to run loc line through. I attached a 3/4 T then ran 2 pipes of loc line on each side of the tank. I think the flow is just perfect for my FOWLR. I also am posting some pics of the light boxes I made They are very simple and allow me to move the light left to right and front to back. Stand and canopy still need second coat of paint. But I am expecting to put salt in and start cycling within the week. I also put my 90 on ebay so if anyone is or knows someone who is looking for one check it out.

Nope not me:) Kiddin I could not pass this fish up really! You are getting some great progress on the tank. Now get some salt in that thing. I want to see some big fish go in that big tank:)

I bought 10 pieces of 6 inch loc line
 
Wow. Thats alot of lockline- but then again this is a big tank. The only reason I ask about the length is because in the picture the lock lines look really long. Maybe its just because I have nothing to compare their size to. Thanks for clarifying. Great work so far. :)

Update fish are doing great. They love it.Here is a pic of the tank as much as I could fit standing with my back to the wall. Also a pic of the angel. The grouper and the trigger are hiding because of the light just coming on. I am still waiting for the 90 to sell on ebay spread the word hahaha Then I can get some more fish! :)

nope any ways I think you are using 20k correct . Thats what I am using and I want to go maybe something a little less blue like 14k I have 250 ice cap electronic ballast what would everyone suggest for bulbs?


damn I am going to have to change my avatar now untill I get a clown tang. :) :P
 
Uhmmmm, I sent you the pm anyway. No I use Coral Vue 14k bulbs and use there electronic ballast 250W. I run 3 of these. I also run a Icecap 660 and 4 URI actinics.
 
the tank is running good . I added a naso tang and a silver foxface I will post pics soon I am thinking about getting some fake coral from living color
