Skimmer is already pulling out crap from the old rock

Wiring is a bit of a rats nest. I decided to use small bicycle hooks to organize some of it

Did a phosphate test today, tested at 0.45ppm. Not surprising since some of the rock is recycled from an older tank of mine plus the 50 pounds of tonga branch. I'll dose lanthanum chloride and check phosphates every few days. Shouldn't have a big algae bloom right off the bat since I haven't turned the lights on.

Added a couple lps from my 300 and a couple yellow tangs. It's finally starting to grow some algae. I hooked up a 54w aqua uv unit to the skimmer outlet. The unit I have also makes ozone which I've hooked up to the venturi on the skimmer. Supposedly, if you pass water that has ozone in it through a UV sterilizer, it will help neutralize the ozone that's in the water. I honestly don't know if that's fact or crap, but I heard that in some presentation from a UV tech rep awhile ago.

Oh my! Sweet Goliath of a tank. What are you planning on stocking it with?
I was thinking of a couple manatees for algae control, maybe a green sea turtle or two....

Seriously though, I'm really not sure. I'd like to do some of the larger tangs, like vlamengi and unicorn tangs etc. Or maybe more triggerfish. Not really sure yet!

I have a pair of silver and blue spotted foxfaces, two Aholehole, and a rescued vlamengi in my 300 I might move over if I can actually catch them
