I have a new tank on the way and was wondering what the ideal position/intervals for the pumps to be in order to create good wave action?

I planned on puchasing 4 6100's with the multicontroller, would this be enough?

I would probably try 2 6200 instead, it would be cheaper and use less power.

can 2 give me a better wave control than 4 6100's?? What is the best position for either setup on the tank specs given?

If you want actual waves the wavebox would be the way to go in addition to Streams. If you are looking for good flow, yes 4 6100 would be better but factoring clutter and energy use and cost I would use the 2 6200's.
