I am selling a 55 gallon tank with stand and canopy. I can throw in a filter, heater and such. Also have an eshoppes 75 protein skimmer for $40

I have a set of lights that came with it but would need remounted to the hood.

Tank and stand are in great shape and everything ran fine. Upgraded to a 90 rr.

Will trade for good lighting for 90g reef or $150

if you're looking for a UV sterilizer i have a 40 watt you can have for free.

it probably needs a new bulb, but everything else should be intact. it's dirty, so it will need cleaned.

i never hooked it up, got it second hand along with the used tank/stand/hook i purchased a while back. never had a need for it.

positive, if i bring home another fish tank, my girlfriend will kill me. lol.

plus i have no idea if the thing actually works. so if it doesn't, just chuck it, and trade the 55 for a working one.

where are you located at in the city? i live in the south hills, work in the strip, so either of those two places would be convenient for me.

I'm in Monroeville, but travel to South Hills pretty often. There's always a reason to go to South Hills ;)

Any time / day better for you?

Still trying to find a good home for this tank. Would hate to see it sit in the garage, or worse, me set it up. Will throw in a eshopps 75 protein skimmer and white and actinic (2 bulbs) t5 (not ho) for $150. $100 for tank and stand only .

Might need to create a new thread to change subject I guess

I'd be interested but it will take me a few months to save up the budget so of course if you have interest before then, please don't hold onto it! I'm just figuring out my first marine tank.

Honestly if you have the time to wait and save, I would suggest starting with a drilled tank, it will save time and money in the long run

Hehe. That was the original plan. Well, I'm going to have my husband drill the tank - he's got steady hands and is used to nervewracking detail work. I was going to get a 40B at the Petco sale and a 20 for a sump. Sorry to hijack your thread a bit!

No worries :) that sale is awesome, got a 40b for my sump there. Glass is thin, not sure if that would affect drilling it
