57 Gallon Rimless Build

im waiting for my 57 and am going to build my own stand couldnt find anything i liked that was big enough for my liking.

Yes make sure everything you want to add fits I didn't think about it when I first ordered the first stand. Hopefully the lfs will take it back.

My 57 sits on an 86" stand. Can't figure out how others manage to stuff a sump, top off reservoir, dosing pumps, dosing solutions/additives, controllers, wiring, plumbing, and supplies into their cabinets. Looking forward to seeing what you end up with! I know waiting for things sucks but good to see you realize you need to do it right the first time. The stand is literally the last thing you want to have to replace

WOW...wish I had the space for a stand that long..The new stand will measure 46x24 so I should have plenty of space.

hey looks great, what kind of sump is that?

Eshopps 30" x 12" x 16" Reef Refugium sump

I was wondering, do you feel that the JBJ 1/10hp chiller is a good size for the 57 gallon tank, because I am setting up a 30g and I was told it is too small for that tank

For your 30g is more than enough I had it on my 29g biocube right now and work with no problems. As far as the 57g my friends has the same chiller on his 90g and work with no problems as well so I should be fine. Also JBJ has a how to size a chiller calculator and I entered the my 57g and it gave me the 1/10.

You need to buy new locline you're gonna need the spliter and make two new return lines. You're also gonna need to buy to 2 45's and cut the return pvc in the over flow add the 45's to back it up and that's it... Not hard if you any other question LMK....
