Yeah I figure just some eggcrate and a small powerhead and it'll be good to go, you think I'll have any issues with parameters down there? I was thinking of running opposite light schedule

Opposite light schedule is a good idea. It will help balance ur ph from dipping down at night, also parameters will be the same. A power head isn't needed for the corals with the flow passing thru, but maybe a small cheap hydor to keep the misc. build up under the racks clean.
