there was a time when fridmani pseudochromis were for the super rich only, and now you can catch them on sale for 25 bucks. I think that part of the appeal of those clowns, is that they are a rarity, and if you are willing to pay the price you can watch a fish that very few people ever get to see. Who knows, they could have some crazy new mating dance that none of us has ever seen or heard of, and only these 5 or 6 people are going to get a chance to see it, if their lucky. Im not saying that im spending that much money on them, but i understand. Hell, I plan on having a Gem tang someday in a large system, and they can run 3 grand each.
